Edith or “Edie” as she is more commonly known as is a sweet girl who is good of heart. She is a commoner and her family isn’t very wealthy. She lives in a cottage on the grounds of Featherborne Hall, and her parents are farmers for the estate. She has been courting Edmund Halfpenny for the past two years, but recently something has changed. An event took place between the two that has put them both into a difficult time. Too make things more complicated, Edith has just discovered that she is with child. She pleads with Edmund to marry her; she doesn’t want to be the village scandal. Will she be able to reason him into marriage? Or perhaps another suitor would do her better.

She is a high ranking Noble, living on the grandest estate in the area. She is used to boys falling in love with her; in fact, she acts like it is annoying. She always refuses their offers; always breaks their hearts. But really Rosamund would like to say yes, to any one of those boys; she just can’t bear the thought of losing all their affection. She needs to be the most desired of the girls. Her worst nightmare would be having no suitors. Rosamund has yet to learn that the offers won’t always be there.
